Risk Analysis

This area provides a graphical snapshot of risks against your hierarchies and allows drill down for more information and analysis of changes in risk ratings over time.

It consists of three tabs : Overview, Heat map, charts. Details of each tab is based on the filters and the selected organization hierarchy level.

Overview

Display pie charts grouped by the type (Strategic, Operational and project).
Each pie chart reflect risks per each assessment (Initial, revised and future)
Pie charts are filtered based on the organization level and main filter selection
Details of the risk can be viewed by simply clicking a percentage value and a grid is displayed just below the pie chart, indicating risk code, title, responsible person, and last review date. Clicking the risk title will navigate the user to the risk detail screen.
Clicking the report icon next to the risk opens a pop-up displaying summary view of the risk.
Ledged; indicate the assessments levels (initial, revised and future) and risk rating colors.
System Alerts: displayed the top ten risks and review overdue risks

Filters available

Filter	Description
Risk Type	Risks will be filtered based on the selected strategic, operational or project type. Default ‘Show All
Responsible officer	Staff drop-down included. Risks where selected staff is the responsible person will be checked. Default
Risk Assessment Type	Initial, Revised and Future. Risks will be filtered for the selected assessment. Default ‘Show All’
Risk Category	Risks will be filtered based on the selected category. Default ‘Show All’
Show Percentage	Information in the pie chart is shown in percentages when the check-box is ticked. When un-tick number of risks are displayed (default)
Save search	User can save search options individual by selecting the filters and ticking ‘Save search’ check-box before clicking ‘ search’ button.
Search	This button is clicked to initiate the search.
Clear search	Pressing this button will clear all the selected filters and set to default.

Heat map

Displays the heat map per assessment. Results are based on the selected criteria, filters and organization level.
Criteria selection for the heat map:
- All the criteria where visibility is configured for the assessment will be displayed here (visibility configuration through Framework>Risk Settings>Criteria)
- Default X and Y axis will be display to the criteria which are taken for the assessment calculation. However, user can change the criteria. When there are more than three criteria used for the calculation then X, Y axis will be the first two criteria used for the calculation and rest will filters
- When visibility is configured only for two criteria for an assessment, user can choose only the X and Y axis. However more than three will have the filter option for the user select sub criteria. Results on the heat map will be based on the exact match.
- Number of risks/color of the heat map is based on the criteria used for the assessment calculation.
- Overall Rating: below each heat map, overall rating is displayed indicating number of risk per each risk type (i.e. number of high risk, low risk etc.).
- Ledged is placed indicating the risk type colors,
- In order to view the number of risks, simple click on a heat map cell or overall rating cell, and drill down indicates the risk code, risk title, responsible officer and next review date.
- Clicking the risk title in grid will navigate the user to detail the screen.
- Report icon next to the filter will load a SSRS report indicating all the risks based on the current selection of the heat map. User can export the report to PDF or Excel.

When clicking on different numbers in the heat map, in order for the data to refresh, you will need to click on the 'refresh' button. CAMMS are in the process of making this automated however in the meantime users will need to click on the refresh button (top right hand corner next to the filters) in order for the data to refresh in the heat map.

Charts

Displays overall risks per assessment based on filters and organization level.
Type of chart display based on the configuration in ‘My settings’ area. By default ‘interactive’ charts are displayed.
- Interactive charts has the option to drill down to view details of the risk ( Grid indicates, risk code, title, responsible officer and next review date)
- Icon next to the risk open ups a pop-up displaying further summary of the risk
- Clicking a risk title navigate user to the risk detail screen.
